If you have changed your upper fuel filter just once on your 6.0 Powerstroke equipped Superduty, you probably know what a piece of crap the stock fuel filter cap is. The stock plastic caps round off, crack, and strip out all the time leading to fuel leaks or worse. Since the injectors on the 6.0 Powerstroke are so delicate, starving them for fuel or not providing the correct fuel pressure due to a cracked cap can lead to injector failure.

This fuel filter cap was also designed to have the exact same hex size as the oil filter cap. This means that you only need one socket or wrench to remove both caps saving you time.
Also, if you would like to add a pressure sensor, the inside of the cap has a center hole already started. All you need to do is drill it out and tap it to the size of your pressure sensor fitting.
