Q - I came across your write up on the Ford 6.4 power stroke and its issues. Curious how the 6.7 compares to the 6.4. I needed a new truck for work. I'd like to keep the budget below $20k, but am wondering if I need to save up for the 6.7. Thanks

A - The 6.7 Powerstroke trucks have been really good compared to the older models they replaced.  It's no secret that the 6.4 Powerstroke trucks had their share of problems if not maintained properly.  The main issues we have seen out of the 6.7 Powerstrokes are the turbos going out and rear radiators leaking.  Other than an occasional fuel contamination issue wiping out the whole fuel system, we haven't seen a ton of issues with them.  The turbo issues seem to be mostly on the 2011 trucks.
