If you are installing an aftermarket fuel system on your vehicle, getting enough fuel flow from the tank is always an issue. Many aftermarket fuel systems require you to drop the tank and install a suction straw of some sort that often cause issues such as fuel starvation and not being able to use 100% of your fuel capacity. We solve these issues along without having to perform labor intensive fuel tank lowering.
The Original Black Diamond Micro Sump installs in minutes on any 2” of flat area you have on the bottom of your fuel tank. Installation is simple:
1. Drill a 1.5” hole in the bottom of the tank
2. Insert the retainer plate through the tank and center in the hole you drilled.
3. Insert oring into groove on micro sump
4. Using the provided stainless bolt and sealing washer, tightened sump to retainer plate (35 ft/lbs)
5. Coat the threads on the ½ x ½ hose barb fitting with red Loctite and tighten.
6. Slide suction hose to fuel system over barb.
