Bullet Proof Diesel
Bulletproof Diesel is a subsidiary of Neal Technologies, Inc., co-owned by Ken and Gene Neal - two brothers with distinct skill sets that complement each other. Ken has always been hands-on and demonstrated his natural aptitude for all things mechanical and electronic from a young age. He excelled in welding and automotive studies throughout his school years and obtained an education in electronics from DeVry University. After becoming an ASE certified Master Automotive Technician at the age of 23, Ken started Elite Mobile Diagnostics (EMD) in 1992, which provided his expertise in automotive drivability and electrical diagnostics to independent repair facilities. During this time, he also became heavily involved in motorsports and currently works with the Desert Assassins off-road racing team.
Gene, on the other hand, discovered his talent in management, sales, and marketing early on. He earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Arizona and worked in the field for nearly a decade before returning to school for his Masters in Business Management and Information Management from Arizona State University. In 2002, Ken offered Gene a job, and the two brothers partnered to form Neal Technologies, Inc. In 2005, they created Bulletproof Diesel to design and bring top-quality automotive products to the market. Gene's formal education and management expertise, combined with Ken's unconventional approach to product design, led to the successful development and delivery of quality products and top-notch customer service.
Despite their success, the Neal brothers remain grounded and prioritize giving back to their community. Through their corporations, they donate a significant portion of their earnings to charitable contributions and educational scholarships. In recognition of their achievements, Ken and Gene were awarded the 2012 Off-Road Magazine's (Co-People) Person of the Year Award for their involvement with the off-road industry, generous giving, and development of great products.
