This is a brand new replacement turbo for your 6.7 Ford Powerstroke Engine. A core is not required. Only fits 2015 and 2016 Ford Super Duty pickups with the 6.7L PowerStroke diesel still on their original turbo. If your turbo has been replaced before, please check for OEM part numbers on your current turbo - dealerships have started replacing 2015-2016 turbos with 2017+ ones, which requires a pedestal swap as well.
