The factory plastic oil and fuel filter caps on the 6.0 Powerstroke engines are a constant source of frustration any time a 6.0 engine is serviced. The soft plastic caps are prone to stripping, cracking, and rounding off. Many times a chisel is needed to pound the factory cap off if they are too tight. The factory caps are just terrible.
The Black Diamond Billet Oil and Fuel Filter caps are designed to the exact OE cap specs so they fit perfectly. They accept factory style filters and o-rings. These caps were designed for strength, so you will never have to replace them for the life of your truck. There is an unconditional lifetime warranty against leaks or cracks.
Both filter caps are machined with an 1/8 pipe port in the center of each cap for pressure gauges or bypass systems.
Lastly, the oil filter and fuel filter caps have the exact same size hex on the top as the factory plastic caps.
